Where we came from

I have always had a passion for the environment. As a child, my playground was the Pilbara’s rocky hills and dry creek beds. We would ride our push bikes for hours - soaking up the sun, no shoes. Not even hats back then. I have always loved drawing and my mum and I would spend hours on the weekends out in the bush somewhere, drawing, while my brothers played and my dad explored for gemstones.  My Aboriginal heritage fills me with a sense of pride and belonging, I truly value that.  Growing up, I saw my Nana cooking and cleaning, making ends meet, creating amazing food dishes out of almost nothing; and what a feast it always was as her nine children and all their children gathered around to eat.

As a young mother I remember cleaning the bathroom one day with bleach (yes I know!). I thought that was what I was meant to do.  As I cleaned, the fumes of the bleach seeped into my lungs and I suffered an asthma attack.  Right then and there, all those years ago, I decided that this had to be wrong and I began to look for a better way to clean.

All of this and so much more has influence my decision to create Robyn’s Eco.

Today with my children all grown and a couple of different career changes later I find myself here, on the edge of something exciting, challenging and wonderful.

For a year now I have been cleaning families homes around Perth. And I love it.

I enjoy helping families by cleaning and providing support to them in this way.

Along the way I have developed my own cleaning products.  I use them everyday and I am still amazed at Mother Nature's power to clean, disinfect, deodorize and sanitise. So many people today have allergies, asthma and migraines, so using mainstream cleaning products and methods is not an option for them.  I have received such positive feedback from sufferers of these ailments that I decided to bottle up my product and bring it direct to you.

I am not just a cleaner nor a product sales person. I am a person who cares about where we are going with our land, resources, our animals and ocean life. I want to help make a difference; one bottle at a time, one clean at a time.

I care about your home, too, and the health of your family. I can help give you the encouragement you need to make the change to go eco.

This is the beginning of a new journey, come with me and let’s ‘tread gently’ on Mother Earth.

With love,

Robyn
